Adam Lambert is ready to rock Broadway.
Lambert and Auli'i Cravalho will star in "Cabaret" as Emcee and Sally Bowles, respectively. They're set to begin performances Sept. 16 for a limited time through March 30, 2025, according to Broadway World and Deadline.
In a statement on Wednesday, Lambert opened up about his "childhood dream" to perform on the Broadway stage.
"Growing up on the musical theater stage, it was always a childhood dream to perform on Broadway," Lambert said, per the outlets. "With this production of 'Cabaret,' it finally felt like the right time to accept an invitation to make my debut. The themes of this show have always resonated with me and given the current sociopolitical climate the world is in, feel eerily timely."

Eddie Redmayne and Gayle Rankin, who garnered Tony Award nominations for their performances in "Cabaret," will play Emcee and Sally Bowles until Sept. 14 of this year. Two days later, Lambert and Cravalho will take over.
Carvalho said she was "thrilled" to step into the character of Sally Bowles for her "Cabaret" run.
"I'm thrilled to join the long line of talented women who have taken on the iconic 'Sally Bowles;' most recently, the woman I watched with notebook and pen in hand, the dynamite Gayle Rankin," she said in a statement. "To join a show with so much history – and such a stellar cast and crew – means it’s quite literally an honor to get my butt kicked each week."
The story of "Cabaret," originally written by John Kander and Fred Ebb, is set in pre-Nazi Germany, where an American writer named Cliff becomes besotted with a devil-may-care showgirl named Sally Bowles, who performs at a seedy nightclub overseen by an eccentric Emcee.
