Da Brat and wife Jesseca "Judy" Harris-Dupart are sittin' on top of the world with this latest pregnancy update.
One month after the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together, the pair shared they are having a baby boy.
Sharing a glimpse at their sex reveal party on Instagram, both the "Funkdafied" rapper and Judy dressed in head to toe blue and pink in anticipation. Da Brat, 48, rocked pink pants, blue shoes and a jacket with both colors, topped off with her hair split down the middle—one side pink and one blue. Judy, 41, opted for a blue dress with pink shoes and matched her wife with multi-colored hair that she put in space buns.
For the reveal, the ladies and their guests—surrounded by pink and blue balloons—watched a giant screen countdown and once it reached one, the screen read "It's a boy!" as a canon shot out blue confetti around the event.
Da Brat and Judy—who tied the knot in 2022—were then seen embracing one another through tears and smiles, captioning the March 26 post: "Baby Harris - Dupart is a boy," with a slew of blue heart emojis.
The sweet update comes a little more than a month after the pair announced Da Brat's pregnancy in February.
"BLESSINGS all 2023," Da Brat wrote on Instagram Feb. 21 while holding her baby bump. "Thanks so muchto @hopefertility for helping us on our journey."
At the time, the rapper got candid on becoming a first-time mom, admitting that there was a time in her life where she didn't see herself having kids
"I never thought I was going to have kids," she told People in an interview published Feb. 21. "I just thought it wasn't in the cards for me. I've had a great career, a full life. I felt like, because I didn't get pregnant earlier on, then it just wasn't going to happen for me."
However, once she met her wife Judy—who is a mom to three from her previous relationship—everything changed.
"I started looking at life so differently," Da Brat continued. "I was like, I want a little me with you. Something special from the both of us that we can share and raise and love unconditionally."
And making this pregnancy even more special, baby boy is a rainbow baby, as the "Give It 2 Me" artist and Judy experienced a miscarriage last year.
"I had never been so excited about something that I didn't even know I wanted," Da Brat added. "I fell in love with the idea and then it was all snatched away from me."
